Your Parish Council Clerk

My name is Roger Hawkins and I am the Clerk to the Parish Council.  I look forward to working with the Parish Council and hope in time to meet many of the residents of the parish.

I do not live in the parish but I do visit frequently and am always happy to arrange to meet residents to discuss any matters of concern.  I may be contacted by phone or fax on 0115 983 0231 and when not in there is an answer phone, please leave a message and I will return the call as soon as possible.  My e-mail address is Clerk@holmepierrepontandgamstonpc.org.uk

Parish Council meetings are held on the second Monday each month except in August & December when meetings are only called if there is sufficient business. I am responsible for the Agenda, Minutes and all business arising from the meetings.  If you wish anything to be discussed at a meeting, please let me know by the Monday prior to the meeting, so that I can include it on the Agenda. 

Members of the public are always welcome to attend parish council meetings and address the council members before the start of the meeting.

I am also the Responsible Financial Officer which involves keeping regular accounts and preparing the accounts for audit.
