Alun Owen
I have been a resident of Holme Pierrepont since 1995 and have always
enjoyed living here in what I believe is almost a unique environment.
After
my retirement as Headteacher of a City Primary School I spent a lot of
time out of the country but recently I have spent more time at home.
I
have always been interested in grass roots democracy and with more time
on my hands decided that it was perhaps the moment to get a little more
involved in the community.
To that end, If I can play a part
in representing parishoners, enhancing and protecting the environment
and developing the facilities for local people I will be well satisfied.
